Galway international Rally

Galway International Rally, sponsored by Corrib OIl has a notable place in Ireland’s road racing history, as it was the 1st round of the Irish Tarmac Championship which was first held in 1978. Today, the rally serves as the season opener for the championship. Catch it 4-5th of February! The length of the Rally including non-competitive sections will be approximately 490 kms, including 15 special stages of circa 220kms and is divided into 2 legs.

Connacht Rugby v Newport Gwent Dragons

Connacht play host to Newport Gwent Dragons at The Sportsground in the Guinness Pro12 on 7th February 2017. Join us to cheer Connacht! Tickets & more info: http://www.connachtrugby.ie/

That’s mad Ted! yes, there is a whole festival dedicated to the iconic Father Ted! The 4 day spectacular takes place every year in February on the picturesque Islands of Inis Mor (Inishmore) and Inis Oírr (Inishere) off the west coast of Ireland. There are all sorts of surreal and wacky events such as Nuns vs Priests volleyball, Ted’s Got Talent and a Lovely Girls Competition. If you’re looking for a completely different type of festival and you have a sense of adventure then this one is for you. Tickets are very limited so best to register in advance on the official website if you’d like to go to TedFest.
