How will you ever decide what to do in Dublin in October? There is no time for sleeping as autumn festivals are here, and city is alive with music, fashion, food and much much more!


Kicking off with everyone’s favourite festival, Oktoberfest is coming over to Dublin from 17th September till 4th October! This is a real one – German festival actually comes over to Dublin with great Bavarian beer, original barmaids and awesome German food. German fun, food and entertainment is guaranteed!

The longest established specialist theater festival in Europe is here again with theater, music, dance and family events as well as talks, public discussions, works in progress showcases and artist development programmes. Check it out between 24th September and 11th October!

Open house Dublin

Come over and enjoy Ireland’s biggest architecture festival , in its 10th year! Over one weekend, many great Dublin buildings of all sizes and periods open their doors to allow citizens and visitors to explore the architecture of their city. Did we mention this is all completely free?  This is happening 16th till 18th October!

Bram Stoker festival

Nobody does Halloween like Dublin does Bram Stoker Festival (Writer of notorious horror novel Dracula, in case you didn’t know! ) Incorporating a range of events from large-scale spectacles to intimate performances in unusual spaces, along with a whole range of film and literary events, the festival always manages to whet just about everyone’s appetite.  Macabre parties, dinners in the crypt, cinema horroraton and Macnas twilight procession are just some of the amazing things to see this year! Get spooked in Dublin 23-26th October!
