We definitely think that, from all October Events in Galway, Galway Aboo festival celebrating Halloween, Galway Jazz Festival and Galway Comedy Carnival are not to be missed!
Bake Fest Galway – 04-05 October
Are you into cakes, cupcakes and all other sweet stuff? Well, we are! Bake Fest is organised in conjunction with ACT for Meningitis, so you will be actually making charitable donation with every cupcake you munch down. Win win situation if we ever heard of one!
Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway – 16-27 October

Galway Jazz Festival – 8-12 October
This year marks 10th anniversary of Galway Jazz Festival, with world class program from both international and home grown Irish Jazz stars! For any jazz fan this is absolute must visit event, with concerts taking place around venues and the city spaces. Get your dancing shoes ready!
Galway Races – October Meeting – 26-27 October
If you missed Galway races this summer, you still have a chance to take your best frock out of the closet and wear it proudly to the races, while shouting funny horse names at the top of your lungs! Races are great fun – the excitement, the food, the clothes, the music – everything about it transports you to a different universe, where you are about to become rich by betting on a number 4 🙂 October bank holiday is the weekend for the races!
