Dublin may not be the city that never sleeps, but we certainly have a lot of events happening year round. And a great thing about Dublin is that you can always find so many different things, you will always be able to find something to suite you perfectly. With colder weather, make sure to wrap up well, pack your wellies and come to enjoy Dublin! So, November events in Dublin you should check out:

 

Guinness Series

If you are into Rugby, the international matches of Guinness Series are a must! Ireland will play Argentina, New Zealand and the USA at the Aviva Stadium. These are super popular matches, so you may not be able to get the ticket, but the craic in the pubs should absolutely not be missed!

Football

If football is your sport, catch Ireland play International Friendly with Northern Ireland on 15th of November, followed by UEFA nations league match against Wales on 16th of November. Both are taking place in the Aviva Stadium.

 

Whiskey Live

All whiskey lovers, Dublin is the place to be on 23-24th of November! Expect masterclasses, tastings and general awesomeness full of Irish Whiskey producers. There will be food pairings and bespoke cocktails served up by some of Dublin’s finest bars and restaurants, while samples from whiskey producers all over the country will be made available.  For whiskey fans, this is not to be missed!

 

Big gigs at 3 Arena

November is very busy with concerts in 3 Arena! Starting the month off are metal legends Slayer on 1st of November, with some amazing supports. U2 is taking its residency from 5th-10th of November, with 4 sold out shows. Mumford and Sons are back to Dublin playing in 3 Arena on 16th of November, with Florence and her machine on 19th.

 

Run in The Dark

Every November, as darkness sweeps the globe, thousands of people from over 50 cities will pull on their running shoes and red flashing armbands and hit the streets to Run in the Dark. Join thousands of fellow runners in Dublin to Run in the Dark on the 7th November 2018 and support our ongoing research to find a cure for paralysis in our lifetime.

 

Dublin Games Festival

Ireland’s newest gaming event, Dublin Games Festival, will bring e-sports, experiences, expo, business and marketplace all under one roof. Whether it’s retro-games from the arcade era, the burgeoning indie game scene, or hi-tech VR experiences that you’re after, Dublin Games Festival will have you covered. Join the fun in RDS on 24th of November

 

Gaiety Panto – Snow Queen

THE GAIETY THEATRE has hosted the annual Christmas Panto each year since 1873. Today, families come from far and wide to experience the Gaiety Christmas Panto and for many it has become as much a family Christmas tradition as Santa himself! This year, enjoy Snow Queen from 25th of November to 6th of January.

Jonathan Swift Festival

Awaken Your Inner Giant at The Jonathan Swift Festival! Explore the life and legacy of one of Ireland’s greatest luminaries. Have your funny bone tickled at “Swift Laugh’s.” Relax with a “Swift Beer” at the 18th Century Tasting Session. Transport yourself to fantastical lands of music and performance. Whatever you prefer to do with your time in Dublin, there is certainly something for everyone!
