Dicey’s Garden

Well, we had to open with this, it is like “united nations” of drinking in Dublin with people from different parts of the world visit Dicey’s Gardens night after night. They literally have an offer for every day of the week! Fancy €2.00 pints on Sunday and €2.50 on Monday?  Weekend offers are not bad either, with Friday pints from €3.00 and food for just €5.00! Have a good craic and a cheap night out in Dicey’s!


Underneath the Tara station, the O’Reilly’s lounge is where all the youth goes for nights to remember (or night’s they can’t remember). The cheap-ass Monday pints cost only €2.00, shots are €1.00 and Jagerbombs €2.50. Weekend is more of the same with the Club Hell’s  specials on Saturday and pints from €3.00, while pitchers are only €9.00. Party guaranteed!


The River Bar

Get your dancing shoes on and enjoy Latino Nights at The River Bar. Located across the famous O’Connell Bridge, the River Bar offers a great night out any day of the week. Drink offers start from €3.00 and you get free entry to the club as well.

JW Sweetmann

JW Sweetmann is a traditional Irish bar dating back to the 1700. Located minutes away from the cobbled streets of Temple Bar, Sweetmann offer a verity of craft beers brewed on the premises. The also have a great offers like a pint & chicken wings for €10.00. This is very fun place to visit, we recommend!



A modern Mexican restaurant located in George’s street, only few minutes from the hostel. They have some awesome deals on cocktails and beers. Check out Taco Tuesday (2 tacos for €6) and Margarita Mondays (2 for €14). If you enjoy Tequila, this might be the place for you!

Cassidy’s Bar

The Cassidy’s Bar is in Westmoreland street, on the corner of the Temple Bar. It offers deals like a beer and pizza for only €12.00. Enjoy a good pint of beer,  play some Board Games, check out a gig… it’s a great place, we are there very frequently…

We do it every night, you get to meet a lot of other backpackers, you get a glass of Guinness, some shots, you get to play beer pong and then you go to one of the night clubs for a boogie!
