Dublin Quays Festival

Part of the charm of travelling and stating in hostels is that you get to explore and discover what actual local people do, love, eat or listen to. If you are here in August, you should check out Dublin Quays Festival as it will wonderfully showcase some of the coolest local acts, all in the venues along the Quays in Dublin. That is literally minutes away from the Barnacles Temple Bar Hostel! Added bonus – some of these venues are also our favorite food places and defo favorite night clubs, so you are getting so much more than just great local acts!

Let’s give you some low down on what to expect…

Venues that festival is taking place in are: The Workman’s Club, the Sound House, the Liquor Rooms, the Grand Social, the Wiley Fox, Sin É and Baggot Hutton. Have we mentioned events are FREE, yeah?

The Workman’s Club – made for the lovers of checkerboard floors and 50s furniture, this place has wicked roof top terrace and legendary DJ nights. Also, they have WowBurger upstairs. What’s not to love?
