Vintage Cocktail Club – usually tops all sort of lists with the best cocktails in Dublin. Gatsby-esque place with fabulous cocktails and vintage decor is certainly something to experience while in Dublin!  It is not the easiest place to find – doors are hidden and you need to ring a bell to get in. We would recommend reserving table ahead of time if you are thinking of having a dinner there.

If you are sill feeling particularity swanky,  head to Morgan Bar. Their outside area has comfy sofas and beds so you can literally lie in bed and have cocktails brought to you. If that doesn’t spell holidays, nothing will! It is very lively place on weekends, but on a pricy side. This is a treat rather than every day extravagance! Hens & stags love this place!

Garage Bar is one of those places in Temple Bar that usually has more locals in than tourists. It is perfect hideaway with great tunes and 50s Garage decor. Think straw on the concrete floor and pumps. Music tends to be awesome and drink deals are mighty. This is not very big place, so get there early(ish) if you are looking for the place to sit down.

Staying in Temple Bar, good place to go and try craft beers, great ciders and awesome cocktails is Porterhouse Temple Bar. It might look touristy, but is usually packed with locals. It also has great music and awesome burgers! What more can you ask for! It is famous as The Porterhouse in Temple Bar opened in 1996 as Dublin’s first pub brewery. There is no Guinness there lads, but great craft beer. Try beer tasting platters 🙂

Following on with our tour of the best bars in Dublin, we suggest you try Darkey Kelly’s, named for what was probably first serial killer in Ireland! This is great pub for trad music, their Sunday sessions are legendary! it’s on one of the oldest streets in the city also. Handel’s Messiah was first performed here in 1742! Great garden area as well!

To have a weekend night out like a Dubliner, head to Workmans Club! Set on several floors, this is one of the best places for dancing in Temple Bar. It goes till very late, there is plenty of stages and spaces to pick from whatever is your vibe and they are known for good drink specials as well!

It still makes noises.
