Ultimate must see tours in Ireland

As much as we all agree that both Dublin and Galway are absolutely awesome (and they are!), there is so much to see on any of our recommended day tours in Ireland that it would be shame not to take them!

From Dublin, check out (in no particular order):

Wicklow & Glendalough Tour

Wicklow is known as the “Garden of Ireland”, and you can see amazing scenery and experience breathtaking views on this tour through Irish countryside. You also get to see some of the famous film locations from P.S. I love you and Braveheart. You will get to walk through Glendalough, one of the most beautiful visitors’ destinations, and see why are people drawn to “the valley of the two lakes” for centuries. Depending on which tour you take, you might even get to see Dunmore Caves and Kilkenny in the same day!

Glendalough

Carrick -a- Rede, Giant’s Causeway and Belfast tour

This is absolutely unforgettable coastal tour with loads of scenic stops. If you like taking pictures, this is the tour you should be on! Tour to north usually includes Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge, where you get to walk 30 meters over the sea level, on a rope bridge traditionally erected by fishermen. You also get to see Giants Causeway, remarkable volcanic rock layered area created over 60  million years ago! Tours will usually include Belfast as well, and we absolutely recommend you have a look at the murals.

Tour includes film location of Winterfell (where you can try your hand in some archery!) as well as visit to Tollymore Forest Park, location of numerous scenes from the series.

Newgrange

If Neolithic tombs are more your thing, you should not miss Newgrange! It was built in 3200 BC, and is therefore older than  Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids! You get to play Indiana Jones as well, with a tour taking you deep into a tomb! Not to be missed :)
