Our selection of festivals to go to in Dublin:
Longitude Festival – 19-21st July
Featuring stars like Phoenix, Foals, Vampire Weekend, Villagers, Kraftwerk and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, this 3 day festival is happening just a short bus ride away from Dublin’s city centre – easily accessible by local public transport! There is no camping facilities for this festival, so you want to make sure you have your bed before donning your willies and enjoying awesome music!
Phoenix Park gigs:
The Killers – Sat 13 Jul 13 & Mumford and Sons – Sun 14 Jul 13
Few minutes on a local bus, and you are in the Phoenix Park! The Killers are headlining Saturday and Mumford and sons Sunday, but there will be a lot of great bands appearing over the weekend, including Two door cinema club and Vaccines.
Forbidden Fruit Festival – 01st and 2nd of June
4 stages of fun with Kasabian, Primal Scream, Chic and many many more! This festival is taking place in the Kilmainham area of Dublin, very short tram or bus journey away from us (or a nice walk down the quays!). This festival is always great fun, and usually has awesome food and comedy stages as well!
Slane Castle gigs:
Bon Jovi on 15th of June & Eminem on 17th of August
Little bit further away from city centre, but still only a bus ride away (Dublin Bus will have special buses for the gigs, make sure to get tickets for them), and set at the beautiful location overlooking picturesque Slane Castle stars Bon Jovi and Eminem will be taking stage in June and August. Slane Castle gigs only happen every 2 years and this is the year to rock out!
