Major events in Galway this February:
Galway International Rally – 07th – 08th February 2015
Do not miss it! Galway international Rally is season opener for the championship, and has all the excitement of a rally you would expect! Since 1971 the Galway International Rally has run 36 times, and on 15 occasions, the winner of the Galway International has gone on to Irish Tarmac Championship glory in the same year!

Galway Astronomy Festival – 21st February 2015
The Galway Astronomy Festival now in its 11th year, has become one of the most popular events in Ireland of the Iirsh astronomical calender, where amateurs and professionals meet, essential for exchanging information, successful stargazing and mutual progress. Tedfest – Fr. Ted Festival – 26th February – 01st March 2015
That’s mad Ted!
The Fr. Ted Festival which is popularly known as Ted Fest, is a celebration of the life of comedian Dermot Morgan and his 1990’s cult TV sitcom Father Ted. The festival sees large numbers of fans take to the Achill islands, most dressed as characters from the show. The event involves taking part in many themed events associated with the comedy series including fancy dress, five-aside football (nuns against priests), toilet duck comedy awards, buckaroo speed dating, lovely girls contest and A Song For Europe.
