Dublin to Galway

If you are looking to get to from Dublin to Galway, there are several options open to you! From Barnacles Temple Bar, you are best off taking the bus to Galway. There is also train going to Galway, but it goes from the Heuston station which is a bit of a walk away. Buses go from city center, so you are never more than few minutes away from Dublin to Galway bus.

For buses, take a look at GoBus or Citylink. They generally have a bus going from Dublin to Galway every hour or so. Talk to our reception for booking your tickets if needed.
If you prefer to take the train, Irish Rail has you sorted! Keep in mind, prices will change the closer to the date you get, so book your tickets in advance!

Once you get to Galway, this is handy map to help you get to the Barnacles hostel. It is really only 5 minutes of leisurely walk from either the coach station or train to Quay Street. Once you get to Quay Street, you will be surrounded by quirky shops, lovely bars, traditional pubs, buskers and plenty of fun on every step!
