The Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland’s top Visitor attractions. The Cliffs are 214m high at the highest point and range for 8 kilometres over the Atlantic Ocean on the western seaboard of County Clare.

Galway Ireland Tours with Barnacles Hostels

 

If you are in Galway already, make sure to ask at reception about Cliffs of Moher tours. They go every day, and if you book through us, you will get better rate than if you booked yourself directly with the company! This is full day tour, leaving in the morning and returning back in the late afternoon, giving you time to really enjoy Irish countryside!

Regardless of which tour you chose, this is the itinerary you will have:

Start is at 10 am from New Galway’s Coach Station. Taking you along Galway Bay, your first stop is at the fishing village of Kinvara to see Dunguaire Castle. They you will be heading into The Burren- home of many national monuments and 75% of Irish native flora.

You will also stop at Kilfenora to see the famous Celtic Crosses (Irish High Crosses) after which there is lunch stop in picturesque coastal village of Doolin, just before getting to Cliffs of Moher. 2 hour stop includes admission to Cliffs as well!

Return to Galway is around 5.30 – 6 pm, just in time for a snooze before finding out why Galway is the capital of fun in Ireland!
